This 2002 Chevrolet Camaro 35th Anniversary Edition is 1 of only 1,398 convertibles built (1 of 789 with an Automatic transmission). The Anniversary edition came painted exclusively in Bright Red, with a two-tone Black and Gray interior. It is based on the V-8 powered SS model, which was powered by an All-Aluminum 5.7L LS1 V8 with 325+hp and 350lb-ft of torque. This was not only the last year of the 4th generation Camaro, but was also marketed by Chevrolet to be the last Camaro ever. It was not till 2009 that Chevy decided to release a completely redesigned 5th Gen Camaro. That said, Chevy spared no expense when adding every feature available to this limited edition, including a custom exhaust and intake that is said to increase power over the normal SS by 10-20hp. Packages exclusive to this edition include: 35th Anniversary Edition with Leather Seats (Z4C), SS Package by SLP Engineering (WU8 and Y2Y), and Performance Rear Axle (GU5), among others. This example is said to be in excellent running condition, with all accessories fully functional (including the convertible top). Recent Maintenance (June 2020- less than 300miles ago) included Engine Oil and Filter change, new Spark Plugs and Cables, 4-new Tires, Alignment, and new Wiper Blades. The vehicle is currently stored in northwestern North Carolina (near Sparta). Inspections can be scheduled for serious inquiries.
